The stories we live and how we tell them shows others who we are.
Here is part of my story
Over the years I have done a wide variety of voice over for audiobooks, e-learning, promo, commercials, phone systems, games, and animation.
I look forward to hearing your story and how I can help you tell it.
I’ve had an odd life.
I grew up on a sailboat with my parents and four siblings. It was a daily adventure, full of the wonder of exploration and interacting with different cultures and languages.
In high school I nurtured a love of performance, foreign languages, and accents. I inhaled animation, spending most of my afternoons and weekends watching TV, but also studying the craft of voice over.
I had the opportunity in high school to study abroad, so I lived in Japan for a year. This experience only fueled my appreciation for animation and voice over. I went on to earn a degree in International Studies, with an emphasis on Japan and Japanese Language. Following graduation, I taught English in a small coastal town in Hokkaido, immersing myself in the language and community.
Since returning to the US, I’ve fueled a passion for immersive technologies, becoming an advocate and organizer for our local virtual and augmented reality community. I host talks, community events, and hackathons. As a result, I’ve had the pleasure of adding my voice to a variety of creative projects in the region.
